A Tough Week
First the Reverend Harry Lehotsky and now Milton Friedman.
The world is a better place because for a fleeting moment, these two outstanding individuals were in it.

There is a contingent of Winnipeggers that feel the need to say "I'm sorry" after they tell someone where they are from. I for one am proud of my home town and don't feel the need to apologize to anyone. So let's leave the odious Sprited Energy campaign behind us and rant about substantive (or frivolous) issues, shall we?

One should read the black rod to see the crap that fine minister had to endure at the hands of our medical system.
God, fighting bureaucracy is like fighting the blob.
Which makes the likes of Reverend Lehotsky and Friedman all the more incredible. They wage their battles with only incremental change as their reward - it takes a remarkable individual with tenacity and resolve not to get sucked into the machinations they are fighting against.
